Hello from West Glacier - Logan Pass is Open!

Glacier National Park is now in full swing. Logan Pass opened to traffic on May 22, providing visitors with spectacular views at the top of the "Crown of the Continent." While the pass is still snow-covered with more than five feet of snow, that means the rivers are in great shape for some whitewater rafting! Celebrating 30 Years on the River
In geologic time, thirty years is a blink of the eye. In business time, it is enough to move glaciers. As whitewater river trips begin on the border of Glacier National Park, Darwon Stoneman, Onno Wieringa, and Sally Thompson are reflecting on thirty years in business as Montana's oldest raft company.

Over the years, the company has gone from two rafts, a van, and a vision, to one that now employs more than 75 people at its peak. The company has also added cabin rentals, the Glacier Outdoor Center and Glacier Anglers Fly Shop, as well as operations that now stretch year-round with winter rentals to explore Glacier via cross-country skis. Their desire to share the beauty of Glacier National Park and the Flathead River system with others continues today - come join the crew to celebrate this historic year on the river.

The team provided the film crew with location help, equipment and technical support in the action-adventure set in Montana. The movie was shown in thousands of theatres in late 1994 and grossed nearly $47 million.
