Raft Conditions
Are As Good as They Get!
Its summer in
Glacier National Park and the rafting is exceptional the rains we
received in June have given the river the perfect amount of water for
whitewater adventure and good fishing should last late into the season. The
wave trains on the Middle Fork of the Flathead are at a level most guides
consider the best and the rivers are clearing to catch some trout. Bone
Crusher is pumping, Jaws is pushing, and Pump House will leave you wishing for
more. Come spend a half-day or a few nights on the river with us.
Youll never forget it.

Try Out a New Raft
July 9-10 Glacier Raft is hosting the first local raft demo days July
9-10 where you can try out rafts on the Middle Fork of the Flathead River. This
is the time of year that the rafting is the best, so it makes sense to let you
try the equipment out first hand. Aire and Outcast reps will be on hand to
answer questions and raft drops will occur at the old bridge in West
Glacier.
Local guides will
escort you to the river in four different shifts on Saturday and Sunday at 10
a.m., noon, 2 p.m. and 4 p.m. Were also hosting a free barbecue from 10
2 p.m. both days at the Outdoor Center, as well as a free drawing for
prizes and a raffle for a new Outcast pontoon boat.

Go
Wild! Glacier Raft offers multi-day wilderness adventures that allow you
to discover a whitewater treasure few have ever seen. The Upper-Middle Fork of
the Flathead is a run that rivals any in the West and offers remote access to
rapids in the Great Bear Wilderness, part of the largest wilderness area in the
Continental U.S. The emphasis on this remote section of river is the overall
experience--camping, rafting, hiking, fishing and enjoying the great outdoors.
You can read about the adventure of a lifetime in
Flathead Living Magazine. |
